NUT is an artisan gin distilled in the London Dry method that guarantees the highest quality ingredients in its production process.
NUT is produced in the Catalan region of L’Empordà, a region of contrasts, a fertile plain brushed by the northerly wind where the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean Sea. The 13 botanical ingredients used to produce NUT creatively combine to deliver a delicate, subtle, aromatic taste. The final product is a gin that evokes the fragrances and flavour, the spirit and character of the land of its origin, L’Empordà.
As a London Dry Gin NUT is the result of four distillations of the highest quality pure alcohol combined with particular botanicals. These botanical ingredients, the majority of which are native to L’Empordà, have been selected and combined in careful proportions to preserve their natural aroma and create the characteristic flavour of NUT: juniper, coriander, cardamom, Angelica root, lemon peel, orange peel, green walnuts, fragrant nutmeg, rosemary, thyme, olive tree leaves, cinnamon and licorice.
Aroma: elegant, intense, unctuous with lasting nuances, very characteristic with a passionate, balsamic starting point marked by Angelica root, rosemary and green walnuts. A tribute to the Mediterranean woodlands, with a final smooth stoke of citrus.
Taste: full, complete, unctuous, long lasting, predominated by the Angelica root at its starting point, with a hint of rosemary, evolving to the green walnut, leaving a flavoursome palate surrounded by the aroma of Mediterranean spices, and with a lasting conclusion that culminates in a light touch of citrus orange.
